Diana Doyle
Diana suffers from asthma and epilepsy, but these health
problems pale in comparison to the physical and psychological
abuse she sustained as a child from her parents. She would often
cry herself to sleep after much berating and castigating. And
the cuts and bruises on her body sometimes proved too difficult
to hide from friends and classmates. Despite these challenges,
Diana was determined to not let her situation at home and her
health problems interfere with her schoolwork, and she remained
focused on her dream of becoming a broadcast journalist.
