Jeanny Tanhnavong
There was a time when Jeanny thought that her life was too much
to bear. A series of tragic occurrences left her emotionally
drained: a week after her uncle was fatally shot, her great-aunt
died of cancer, and her father fell ill and underwent a major
heart operation. Desperate, Jeanny thought that no other person
should ever have to feel what she felt at the time. But from her
emotional nadir, her strong faith helped her rise above this
adversity to find renewed hope in life.
