16th Annual Excellence Awards and Scholarships Dinner

Amazing. The one word that can describe my experience at the 16th Annual Excellence Awards and Scholarships Dinner for the U.S Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
 

Hearing the achievements of other Asian heritage business owners and entrepreneurs made me realize the opportunity of achieving the true American Dream. As I looked upon the vast faces at the Excellence Dinner I could see the great commitment people have to USPAACC. The dinner not only represented an awards ceremony, but a representation of a gamut of Asian descendants connected by the goals of bettering themselves, their businesses, and their community.
 

The Excellence Dinner’s title was "Build Vital Connections." People of Asian descent and others who were not of Asian descent were able to build connections throughout the entire week. Through the Guanxi Breakfast and concluding with the dinner, everybody, Asian or not, came together to enhance their networking, communication, and business skills.
 

After presenting the acceptance speech on the behalf of the scholarship recipients I was finally able to relax. I realized that The Guanxi Breakfast and Excellence Dinner allowed me to develop my own networking and communication skills. Although nervous, the speech developed my public speaking skills. Hopefully, everyone will remember the traditions we continued and will build in the future after attending the USPAACC’s 16th Annual Excellence Awards and Scholarships Dinner.
