CelebrAsian 2004

The USPAAC Celebrasian2004 allowed me to meet so many people of great diversity. I volunteered for the first few days before the scholarship awards ceremony, and just by working, I talked to many adults from various work fields, which enlightened me on things I never knew. I also got to know the scholarship recipients - students, of excellence and caliber - my age from all across the United States.  In those two nights, we built friendships, which many of us still uphold.

As a future broadcast journalist, my greatest pleasure was meeting CNN anchorwoman Sachi Koto, who was the MC for the Awards and Excellence dinner. 

Celebrasian2004 was a great opportunity for everyone to meet new people of same business interest.  Not only was it beneficial for adults to “build vital connections” in business, but for the scholarship students as well. As senior high school students, soon going off to our first year in “the real world” these friends and people you meet along the way are very important for future aspirations, which USPAAC provided.
