ECRM / Ahold USA Supplier Diversity Trade Fair

“Efficiently Linking Diverse Suppliers to the Retail Market”

Current U.S. census data concludes minority-owned businesses are being created at rate greater than majority-owned businesses.  It’s also important to note that women-owned businesses are outpacing “ALL” businesses being created to date. Ahold USA, recognizing this growing trend as a business development opportunity and Ahold’s satisfaction with ECRM's proven technology platforms and on-site execution abilities, has approached ECRM requesting assistance and support in designing an event to efficiently identify and source diversity suppliers serving the retail industry.

ECRM has collaborated with Ahold USA to deliver several targeted "Supplier Diversity Trade Fairs " to highlight supplier diversity development opportunities within the General Merchandise, Health and Beauty Care and Grocery Industry segments.  These Trade Fairs will be conducted by supplier diversity knowledge experts.  James Sturgis Jr., Ahold USA's Director of Supplier Diversity will facilitate the events which will include informative general sessions, relevant education sessions championed by  Food & Marketing Institute diversity executives, interactive panel discussions, and one-on-one private meetings with retail buyers and supplier diversity managers.
