In its 21st year, USPAACC held
CelebrAsian 2006, the largest Asian American business conference in
the United States, in Chicago on May 15-17, 2006. This was the best
conference ever, according to post conference emails received from
corporations, government agencies, Asian American businesses,
non-profit organizations, as well as policy makers from Washington
DC and Chicago, Illinois.

Here are just some of the comments:

16 college scholarships were awarded to
students from across the country. They were all brought into
Chicago to experience for the first time in their young lives a
major business conference that features Asian American talents,
capabilities, connections, and resources in the United States as
well as Asia. These students mingled with successful entrepreneurs,
watched them negotiate, heard successful stories and personal
struggles, and were undoubtedly inspired and motivated. Many of
them came with their families and, according to them, “had the best
time in their life.”
